5 Trends that are here to stay

To say that 2020 has been an unpredictable whirlwind of year would be a huge understatement.

There have been many quarantine trends that have come and gone during this time, but here are the top trends I see staying around.

1.Mini bags

Jacquemus put this trend on the map with their Le Chiquito, and now mini bags are popping up everywhere and in all price ranges. A designer mini bag is the ultimate flex item right now. Most mini bags also fit more than you think! The Le Chiquito can fit your essentials; a few cards, keys, and your airpods, or a lip gloss. Whichever you prefer for that day, and if you

need to carry more items, well that’s what boyfriends are for.

2. Straight leg jeans

Kiss your skinny jeans goodbye and say hello to your new staple. Straight leg jeans are now the new normal. You can pair the same tops you wore with skinny jeans, the straight silhouette just creates a more updated chic look.

3. Shoulder Bags

The 2000s are officially back with these shoulder bags. Again, the bags with a designer logo all over them is my preference, but there are so many different styles and colors that are out there right now. You can fit all your essentials in this bag (airpods AND lipgloss!) making it the perfect everyday bag.

4. Silk scarfs

There is SO MUCH you can do with a square silk scarf. You can tie it different ways to wear it as a top, you can wear it as a head scarf, tie it around a ponytail, tie it on the handle of your bag, and so on. The scarf is just a chic accessory you can add to any outfit to make it pop.

5. Cardigans

Cardigans are being worn for more reasons other than when it’s a little chilly in the office. Whether it be big puffy cardigans, or a simple cotton one, these are now being worn as our tops, and not just an overlay.
